The people of Deir Ezzor are going through a severe crises due to the cessation of text messages related to filling heating fuel oil, and limiting the filling to mediation and bribery, in conjunction with the start of the distribution of the second batch of the substance, which amounts to 50 liters.
Gas station owners take advantage of the people’s need for diesel, and deliberately tamper with the meters, deducting more than 5 liters from each card, in addition to charging 10,000 SYP more for each person who does not want to stick to the queues.
These events come to increase the burdens of the people, who suffer from the deteriorating living conditions, in conjunction with the bitter cold and the need for fuel oil, in light of the power outages that last for long hours in some areas and its absence in others.
