The first batch of school books arrived in Deir Ezzor Governorate today, as part of the urgent response implemented by the Ministry of Education to meet the requirements of the educational process in educational complexes in the liberated countryside of the governorate.

Sources in the Ministry of Education explained that this step comes within the context of efforts made to ensure educational stability and meet the needs of schools, which contributes to students returning to school in appropriate educational conditions.

The batch includes 245,973 textbooks allocated to the first, second and third grades of primary school, in addition to the third grade of intermediate school, which will be distributed to schools according to the actual need of each educational complex.

The Ministry confirmed that providing Deir Ezzor with school books will continue during the coming period, as part of a comprehensive plan to support the educational sector and compensate for the shortage resulting from the circumstances that the governorate has gone through, in a way that ensures the continuity of the educational process and improves its situation.
