Today, the Assad regime’s military police patrols cut off the main road in the town of Al-Salhiya in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, by erecting several checkpoints, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the reason for the deployment of the checkpoints by the military police is to inspect the military licenses after the infiltration of Assad’s forces and their escape to Assad’s forces-controlled areas using forged military licenses.
It is worth noting that the cases of desertion from Assad’s forces, Iranian militias and the National Defense have increased significantly recently, especially after repeated targeting by the international coalition.
