Members of the Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas militia are deployed with full equipment in the city of Al-Mayadeen, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to the reporter, the militia conducted patrols consisting of military vehicles (pick-ups) mounted with anti-aircraft guns, adding that this deployment coincides with the Iranian militias’ installation of rocket launchers and field artillery, among civilian homes near the electricity company, next to Al-Qalaa Ice Factory in the city of Al-Mayadeen.
The city is witnessing extreme tension, amid the alert among the ranks of the Iranian militias in the city, as a result of the air strikes that targeted several militia sites in the city of Deir Ezzor last night.
