The commanders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia held a small security meeting at the Al-Khatiya headquarters next to Al-Haganah roundabout in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, according to what a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that the purpose of the meeting was to study the recent security situation, especially after the ambush that a military commander from the Hezbollah militia was subjected to with four of his members near the Imam Ali base in the Albukamal desert, two days ago, which resulted in the deaths of all of them.
It is worth noting that another ambush – believed to be by Daesh
was carried out by a group of members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in the same place yesterday, and resulted in the injury of two members.
