DerEzzor24 exclusive report

The leadership of the Revolutionary Guard militia in Al-Bukamal refused to hold a funeral for the Iranian president in a public place or even in a well-known headquarters, according to a DeirEzzor24 network local reporter.

According to the reporter, Abu Issa, the commander of the 47th Regiment militia, suggested holding the funeral at the former Badr Hospital headquarters or in a place near it, but Hajj Malik, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard militia in Al-Bukamal, refused to do so.

A funeral may be held in private, due to the fear of direct targeting by the Global Coalition and Israeli aircraft.
