A young woman was injured and another young man was injured, in a quarrel that developed into an armed clash between two families in the town of Al-Jufra, east of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of Deir Ezzor 24 network.
Our correspondent said that a gunfight broke out in the town of Al-Jufra, yesterday evening, between the Al-Ghadban family and another family, during which machine guns and hand grenades were used.
He added that the reason for the clash was a love story between a young man and a girl and the opposition of her family to the young man, which led to a clash between the girl’s brother and the young man, which developed into a clash between the two families.
Weapons are widely spread in the town of Al-Jafra, due to the arming of its young men by the Assad regime since the first days of the revolution, and their inclusion in the various militias.
