The Syrian Arab Equestrian Federation, under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports and Youth, in cooperation with Arabian horse breeders and the Horse Office, has announced the organization of the first Victory Race (Victory Marathon) over a distance of 10 kilometers. The event will take place at the Al-Qouriya racetrack in Deir Ezzor Governorate on December 15, 2025.
The race will include two main heats; the first is dedicated to the “Waho” category, with 28 horses participating from officially registered purebred Arabian horses. The second heat will feature the “Mixed” category, with 34 horses from both national and foreign breeds.
The organizing body confirmed that the race aims to revitalize the sports movement in the region and revive the equestrian sport there. It was also noted that the prizes allocated for this event are among the highest prizes for the season. The committee called on the public to attend the event and support the riders participating in this unique sporting event in the region.
