The price of a bag of fertilizer (46-caliber urea) has reached half a million Syrian pounds on the black market in Deir Ezzor, with an increase of nearly 300% in one month, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that fertilizer has been missing from the Agricultural Bank in Deir Ezzor for more than two months, despite the farmers’ urgent need for fertilizer.
It is noteworthy that the summer crops in Deir Ezzor (cotton, yellow corn and vegetables) are without fertilizer and are in full view of the competent authorities.
