The administration of the Al-Bukamal area, in cooperation with the Directorate of Religious Endowments, held an expanded meeting that brought together the city’s mosque preachers, as part of efforts aimed at strengthening civil peace and reinforcing values of understanding among members of the community, according to a correspondent from DeirEzzor24 Network.
The attendees discussed a number of challenges facing the work of preachers inside mosques, in addition to emphasizing the importance of moderate religious discourse and its role in reducing disputes and promoting a spirit of cooperation among residents. Participants also stressed the need to intensify awareness seminars and unify efforts to preserve social stability and support human values.
During the meeting, the Al-Bukamal administration affirmed its commitment to providing the necessary support to activate the role of religious institutions in spreading awareness, while mosque preachers expressed their readiness to cooperate and work jointly in service of the public interest.
This meeting comes as part of ongoing steps aimed at building a cohesive community capable of overcoming challenges through dialogue and cooperation, thereby enhancing security and stability in the city of Al-Bukamal.
