Dozens of Iranian militia members flee towards the east of the Euphrates

The DeirEzzor24 network learned from private sources that dozens of members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia had fled to the SDF-controlled areas in Deir Ezzor.

The sources said that most of the fleeing members were from the Asud Ashayer militia, affiliated with Nawaf al-Bashir; adding that they fled because of fear of the coalition’s repeated targeting of areas controlled by Iranian militias, especially in Al-Mayadhin and Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor.

During the recent period, the global coalition targeted Iranian militia sites and weapons shipments in Deir Ezzor.
