Deir Ezzor City Council issued two new regulatory circulars aimed at enhancing public safety at construction sites and regulating the implementation of construction work, as part of reducing risks and improving traffic flow within the city and its suburbs.
The instructions included all those in charge of building construction and holders of newly granted building permits. In the first circular, the council stressed the necessity of erecting a 1.5-meter-high metal wall surrounding the property to be built, especially when carrying out basement excavation work. The wall should be erected immediately after the completion of demolition work, with the aim of protecting passersby and reducing accidents.
In the second circular, the Council obligated modern building permit holders to use a truck-mounted construction pump (pump) to carry out roof molding operations on main streets, starting from September 1, 2026, which contributes to accelerating the pace of work, reducing congestion, and reducing traffic obstruction.
The Council stressed that violating these instructions will expose violators to financial fines and legal procedures in accordance with applicable regulations.
