The Ministry of Electricity recently issued a decision to increase the share of Deir Ezzor province by 10 MEGA to support agriculture in the area and operate electric start-up engines in the agricultural associations and the irrigation sectors.
According to the residents, there was no change in the number of hours of electricity supply after the decision was issued, in addition to the presence of the “Hertz” frequency protection that prevents the intensity of the electric current in the countryside from exceeding 140 volts.
The surplus allocated to agriculture goes to the private golden lines, which are located in the neighborhoods of the residence of Iranian pilgrims and the influential arms of the Assad regime and its supporters, with the complicity of the governor and director of the Deir Ezzor Electricity Company, engineer “Khaled Lutfi”.
