Daesh launches an attack in eastern Deir Ezzor, forcing Assad forces to become in a state of alert

A member of the National Defense Militia was killed, and at least a civilian was wounded, in an attack by Daesh cells on the Al-Duwair-Al-Salihiya axis in Al-Bukamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, last night, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.

He said that the attack was carried out on four motorcycles driven by 8 Daesh members, during which they used machine guns and an RPG launcher, and it lasted only for several minutes.

Assad’s forces mobilized in the area where the attack took place, and sent reinforcements to the point, but after the attackers withdrew.
