COVID-19 infections have increased significantly in the areas of Deir Ezzor countryside (east of the Euphrates), according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that most of the cases were recorded in the areas of (Jedid Bakara, Al-Sabha, al-Dahla, al-Bussairah and Breiha) in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and the areas of (Al-Azbah, Maezila and Al-Rubaidah village) in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside.
Our correspondent added that medical staffs called on civilians to commit to precautionary measures, in order to prevent the spread of the deadly Covid 19 pandemic.
A new wave of COVID-19 has hit the areas of Deir Ezzor countryside (east of the Euphrates) since the beginning of this month. Unprecedented numbers of infections were recorded in the region, amid people’s disregard for preventive measures such as social distancing, wearing masks and using sterilizers.
