Dozens of civilians were killed in the regime-held Al-Qusour neighbourhood of Deir Ezzor city tonight.
A D24 correspondent said that ‘at around 9.30 am, aircraft, believed to have been a regime one, struck a residential building in the neighbourhood by mistake, which led to a massacre that has claimed the lives of at least 15 civilians so far, apart from dozens of injuries.’
He added that, ‘the casualties could increase because of the huge number of the injured, and rescue operations continue in the targeted area.
Assad’s forces have imposed a security corridor in the targeted area and are preventing civiliuans from approaching or filiming anything. Some civilian-owned phones were confiscated’
