DeirEzzor24 network learned from a private source that 4 members of al-Assad’s forces escaped in Deir Ezzor, and reached SDF-controlled areas on the second bank of the Euphrates River.

According to the source, the fugitives are from the radar battalion of the 17th Division located in Jabal Al-Tharda in the vicinity of Deir Ezzor military airport.

The escape operations of Assad’s forces, especially those who have recently joined the army divisions from the National Defense militias, according to the recent settlements, have recently increased as a result of living conditions and poor salaries.
