A DeirEzzor24 network reporter said that the Al-Tala’i checkpoint west of the city of Deir Ezzor prevents armed elements from entering the city.
Our reporter added that armed members, especially members of the National Defense Militia, were prevented from entering the city of Deir Ezzor and those coming from the western countryside of Deir Ezzr for fear of retaliation from “Muhanna Al-Fayyad,” who lost in the People’s Assembly elections, and his threats to officials and candidates for the People’s Assembly.
It is noteworthy that “Al-Fayyad” stormed the Deir Ezzor Governorate Council, two days ago, along with tribal gunmen, because of his objection to the conduct of the elections and accusing those in charge of corruption.
