DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:

A military security checkpoint at the Al-Bal’oum roundabout in Deir Ezzor city is preventing residents of “East of the Euphrates” from entering Deir Ezzor city, according to DeirEzzor24 network correspondent.

He added that the checkpoint exempts the residents of the seven villages, and the checkpoint personnel now request a residence permit to prove that the citizen resides in the “Shamia” area or the seven villages.

It’s worth noting that this measure coincides with the start of the school year and the arrival of teachers to their jobs.
