The Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC) held an expanded working meeting in the Hasakah Fields Directorate in the city of Rmelan, with the participation of representatives of the American company HKN and the security of vital facilities in the Ministry of Interior, in addition to administrative and technical cadres, as part of the ongoing preparations to receive the oil fields and prepare them for the next operating phase.

The meeting lasted for two days, and was devoted to following up on the procedures related to receiving the oil fields, and discussing the executive, technical and security aspects related to managing the fields and their operating mechanisms during the next phase.

Participants discussed ways to enhance coordination between the relevant authorities, ensuring that operating plans are implemented in accordance with the required technical standards, in addition to discussing measures to maintain the safety of facilities and workers and ensure continuity of production.

The attendees stressed the importance of integration between various relevant parties, and working to apply safety and operational efficiency standards, which contributes to supporting the stability of work in the oil fields and achieving the necessary readiness for the next stage.
