A number of Shiite clerics and Iranian militia leaders held a funeral for Lady Fatima Al-Zahra in the city of Al-Mayadin in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
He stated that a number of local clerics, such as Muhammad al-Raja, and pilgrims from Aleppo and Homs, in addition to tribal notables led by Nawaf al-Bashir, attended this council.
Iranian militias are trying to promote the celebration of Shiite events in Deir Ezzor, by inviting the general public to attend them.
