According to a private source, the Russian general, Constantine, who leads the Russian Reconciliation Center in Hatla, recently met with the leaders of the State Security, Military Security, and Air Force Intelligence branches belonging to Assad’s forces in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
During the meeting, the Russian general expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the security detachments in securing the six villages and preventing any possible abuses.
These villages are currently under the control of the Russian-backed Fifth Corps, with a minimal presence of Assad’s forces and their security branches.
