Nursing and technical staff at the National Hospital in Raqqa held a protest to demand improved salaries and living conditions, in light of the difficult economic conditions facing healthcare workers.

During the protest, participants raised banners demanding increased wages and an improved work environment, stressing that they will continue to perform their humanitarian duties despite the daily pressures and challenges facing health personnel inside the hospital.

The protesters pointed out that the high cost of living has become a major burden on workers, which requires taking urgent measures to support them and improve their professional and living conditions, ensuring the continued provision of medical services in the required manner.

This protest comes as part of a series of ongoing demands from health sector workers, who call for more stable working conditions and improved services for patients.
