The 4th Division allowed the entry of children milk into Deir Ezzor province in return for doubling the custom tax, which will necessarily lead to a doubling of its price by merchants, and increases the suffering of civilians, amidst the deteriorating living conditions they are experiencing.
The price of children milk has recently increased, as the price of a box of “Nan” milk reached 17,500 SYP, the price of “Kikoz” 15,000, and “Kidlac”, which arrives across the Iraqi border, 13,500 SYP.
The Fourth Division is trying to exploit the conditions of the people and exacerbate their crises, by imposing “royalties” and customs on all necessary supplies, in an attempt to earn funds.
