A dispute broke out between the Russian Protection Battalion and the Special Military Security Detachment over the floating metal bridge that connects the towns of Al-Mari’iya and Marat in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a reporter for DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the dispute came as a result of the detachment’s failure to stop pedestrians and cars during the rest period of the Russian elements, and to close the bridge at noon between 12 and 1:00 p.m.
The bridge is operational daily from 7 am until 5 pm, while civilians and members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia prefer to pass through the dirt bridge of the Fourth Division between the town of Husseiniya and the city of Deir Ezzor.
