28 candidates were excluded from the Farmers Union elections in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor 24 monitored the exclusion of 28 candidates for the Farmers Union Council in Deir Ezzor by the security branches, while elections are expected to take place on the seventh of February.

Members of the union councils in agricultural associations and farmer associations, represented by the Deir Ezzor, Al-Mayadin and Al-Bukamal League, participate in the elections, and the door for candidacy is still open.

Those concerned refer to the rejection of the requests of most of the candidates for the presence of a son outside the country and in Turkey in particular, while the candidates resort to clan blocs and buy support to collect votes with the help of the leaders of the Baath Party and the National Defense Militia, which has influence in the region.
