In a humanitarian initiative aimed at improving the working environment within healthcare facilities in Deir Ezzor, the Hassan Al-Ali Foundation for Relief and Development has delivered 162 gas-powered cooling units to the city’s Health Directorate.
Speaking to DeirEzzor24 Network, Mishaal Al-Adawi, the Foundation’s Secretary, explained that this initiative is part of a series of support programs offered by the foundation. Previously, it contributed to equipping the operating room at the National Hospital with advanced medical equipment and supported the health sector with ambulances. Al-Adawi confirmed that the foundation’s future plans include supporting other vital sectors such as education and public services.
For his part, Ahmad Shalash, Deputy Director of Health in Deir Ezzor, stated that the directorate will develop a strategic plan to distribute the cooling units to hospitals and health centers based on priority and level of need, ensuring the best possible use of this support.
This initiative exemplifies humanitarian cooperation amid challenging conditions and reflects the commitment of relief organizations to support essential sectors that directly impact citizens’ lives. It also paves the way for more joint efforts to improve the service and health realities in the region.
