During the past few days, the Water Department delivered water to the Al-Maamel area north of the 7 km roundabout in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, from the Al-Ghazl water purification plant, according to the correspondent of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the area they reached includes the assembly of the Deir Ezzor Civil Council departments of the Autonomous Administration, in addition to military points and a military command center.
He pointed out that the process of delivering water was carried out by two mechanisms (Baker), and a workshop for the workers of the Deir Ezzor Water Corporation.
He stressed that the Assad regime agreed to deliver water to the area of factories under the control of the SDF, in exchange for its agreement to open the Salhiya land crossing, which connects the Assad regime-controlled areas with the SDF-controlled areas of Deir Ezzor.
The crossing has not been opened for human traffic, until now, due to the delay by the SDF, and the work of the crossing has so far been limited to commercial crossing day and night.
