The US-led coalition warplanes conducted on Friday more than ten air raids targeting a number of ISIS targets in the city of Albu Kamal near the Iraqi border, resulting in the destruction of at least two check posts and the injury of a number of ISIS militants.

The US-led coalition struck and destroyed on Friday a number of ISIS traditional anti-aircraft weaponry, which were positioned near Al-Biyara in the area of Al-Basatin. An ISIS check post at the industrial area in Albu Kamal, and another check post in the area of Al-Hizam Al-Akhdar, were also destroyed during Friday’s air strikes, D24 correspondent in the city of Albu Kamal said.

He added ‘’ Intense warplanes have been flying over the city of Albu Kamal recently’’

On the other hand, unknown gunmen ambushed and killed four ISIS militants as they were raiding a vehicle near the power plant in the city of Albu Kamal a while ago.

It is worth mentioning that heavy clashes are taking place between ISIS and the Assad-regime on the outskirts of Deir Ezzor military airport, while Russian warplanes continue to deliberately target civilian areas and residential buildings in Deir Ezzor. Several districts of Deir Ezzor city were bombed by Russian warplanes on Friday.
