DeirEzzor24 Network learned from private sources that the security branches of the Assad regime assigned their civilian informants to spread more among people and markets to convey information and write reports.
According to the sources, the goal of the security branches is to report to anyone who talks about the news of the attack on Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, by the Coalition and the SDF.
It added that some officers, members, and members of the local Iranian militias, by dispatch, left Deir Ezzor towards their provinces, fearing the expected attack.
Rumors of the coalition and SDF attacking the Assad regime’s positions in Deir Ezzor have been spreading strongly for more than 10 days in the areas controlled by the Assad regime, without any indications on the ground of that attack so far.
