The security branches prevent the residents of Al-Bukamal from receiving displaced people without informing them

Military security and state security patrols have been deployed in the streets of the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, in search of those coming from areas controlled by the SDF, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.

According to our reporter, the patrols are inspecting passersby and checking their identity cards in search of those crossing from areas controlled by the SDF after the recent battles there. The patrols have informed neighborhood leaders and local gatherings not to accommodate any displaced families without notifying the military security and state security branches, to obtain their approval after studying their situation.

The Assad regime has begun registering the names of all displaced people from areas controlled by the SDF to its areas of control in Deir Ezzor, subjecting them to settlement processes.
