The Republican Guard is restructuring itself in Deir Ezzor

The Republican Guard forces affiliated with Assad’s forces have evacuated a number of their headquarters in the city of Al-Bukamal and its countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of the DeirEzzor24 network.

He said that the Republican Guard Command distributed its members to the headquarters of the Assad forces in the cities of Al-Mayadin and Al-Ashara, east of Deir Ezzor, as part of the restructuring of the forces and their headquarters in the area again and the recruitment of new elements to the region.

Assad forces command has been trying for some time to free the Republican Guard in Deir Ezzor, as a kind of balance, after singling out the Fourth Division in the governorate.
