The New Syrian Army succeeded in liberating several military areas from Daesh after one day of the start of an anti-Daesh operation called ‘’Yawm Al Ard’’ ( Day of the Earth) that was announced yesterday. The operation’s goals is to force the group out of the province of Deir Ezzor, mainly the city of Al Bukamal near the Iraqi border.

Military sources indicated today that the New Syrian Army took control over Hamdan airport, Hamdan village and the Tnaf border crossing as well as a number of other areas whose liberation has not been declared yet.

The sources said that there will be a live broadcast on  radio in the coming days in the surrounding of Al Bukamal in order to warn and direct civilians in Daesh-held areas.
