Al-Mukhtar militia of the Air Force Intelligence stole the Abuslum grocery near the Al-Dahiya junction at Al-Akrash shops in the Al-Jura neighborhood of Deir Ezzor, next to the militia’s headquarters.
The stolen items included foodstuffs, sums of money, mobile phones and some canned goods, in an incident that recurs from time to time. On the other hand, members of the Al-Thawra neighborhood police station, known as Umm Al-Tanafs police station, turned a blind eye to the practices of the Mukhtar militia and its transgressions against the residents, as they expelled the residents who filed a complaint against the militia members, and informed them to let the militia alone.
Al-Mukhtar’s militia is led by Juma Muhammad Saeed Al-Mukhtar, who was recently honored by the Russian forces.
