The security branches of the Assad regime launched a campaign to inspect mobile devices in the cities of Al-Mayadin and Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor, according to a correspondent for DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the campaign targeted members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia volunteers in the local militias, and within the road points, border crossings, and stopping places for Shiite visitors coming from the State of Iraq towards the Shiite shrines in Damascus.
The reason for this campaign is due to the spread of videos documenting the entry of the so-called Shiite pilgrims, and identifying the points of Iranian deployment, especially after the recent targeting of trucks that entered the province through the Al-Bukamal border crossing.
