After the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia recently opened the door to joining its ranks at the development headquarters in the Harabesh neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, the names were transferred to Assad officials in Damascus, according to what a private source told the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that the militia submitted the names from the Human Forces headquarters in the city of Deir Ezzor to the National Security Office in Damascus, which is the only one authorized among the Assad regime’s agencies to study the members for acceptance or rejection.
It is noteworthy that the membership door that was recently opened includes those wanted for compulsory and reserve service under special settlements for Iranian-backed militias, and it is the first of its kind after the recent American targeting of the region
