Yesterday, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia held an iftar meal for some of its leaders at the “Hajj Fadel” rest house in the Al-Qusour neighborhood in the city of Deir Ezzor, according to a DeirEzzor24 network reporter.
According to the reporter, the attendees included Abu Zainab al-Afghani, the commander of the Fatemiyoun militia in Didalzor, Hajj Kamil, the supreme commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, and Hajj Jawad, the Lebanese Hezbollah official.
It is noteworthy that this is the first time that senior commanders of the Iranian-backed militias have met in Deir Ezzor during the month of Ramadan.
