The DeirEzzor24 Network learned from private sources that the security office of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia is preparing its own secret prison in the Katef neighborhood in the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor.
According to the sources, Hajj Muhammad, the prison official in the security office, was the one who ordered the preparation of the prison, and a house (basement) in the Al-Katf neighborhood, which is completely controlled by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia, was chosen as the location for the prison, to be close to the security headquarters located in the same neighborhood. In order to facilitate its protection and prevent people from knowing its location.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian-backed militias have greatly activated their security office in Deir Ezzor recently, especially after the recent escalation with the international coalition in the region.
