IC warplanes perpetrated a massacre in the area of Al-Atal, located on the outskirts of Al-Bassira city, Deir Ezzor’s eastern countryside, yesterday, after they conducted a series of violent air strikes, killing at least six civilians and wounding more than 25 others.
“The air strikes were carried out on an internet café in the area of Al-Atal, killing at least six civilians and wounding 25 others, most of whom were male civilians from the village of Al-Zar near the targeted area.” A D24 correspondent indicated today.
All the wounded were transported to the neighboring hospitals.
The death toll from the air strikes on Al-Atal might rise as many of the wounded are currently in an extremely bad shape.
It should be pointed out that conducting air raids on civilian targets is not the first of its kind, as IC killed at least 5 children following air strikes on a civilian home in the city of Al-Bukamal few days ago.
