The governor of Deir Ezzor instructed all mayors and mukhtars to provide him with a list of the names of people from the Deir Ezzor countryside, according to what a private source told DeirEzzor24 Network.

The source said that the required names are for all the donors and owners of charitable works in each town during the month of Ramadan, who provided in-kind and material assistance to the needy.

The source added that the purpose of requesting the names is to archive them within the security studies departments of all intelligence branches for future accountability in addition to expatriate donors.

The security branches in Deir Ezzor control the most delicate aspects of the people’s lives, even if it is related to charity and donations.
