All of the FSA factions that include Jaysh Assud Al-Sharqiya, The Martyr Ahmed Abdou Battalion and Jaysh Tahrir Sham have recently launched a large-scale offensive on Daesh-held territory in eastern Qalamoun, capturing several key areas from the group.
The military factions succeeded in gaining control over strategic ‘Zubayda Observatory’ that is located nearby Mount Zubayda in eastern Qalamoun, inflicting massive casualties upon Daesh during the attack, as many of its members were killed and wounded while the rest fled for their lives toward Mount Daba’ and the area of Mahassah in eastern Homs, where clashes still continue.
In other news, heavy fighting is ongoing between Assud Al-Sharqiya and Daesh in the area of Al-Wa’r in Badiya, with no further details.
