Civilians suffer when they pass through the Fourth Division checkpoint, stationed in the village of Al-Salihiya on the Deir Ezzor-Al-Bukamal road, whether leaving or arriving towards Albukamal, according to what was reported by a DeirEzor24 network reporter.

Our correspondent said that the checkpoint personnel were delaying travelers for several hours, while deliberately searching them and their belongings completely in order to blackmail them with the aim of obtaining money.

The checkpoint personnel deliberately stop travelers and not others, whether commercial trucks or refrigerators transporting fruits and foodstuffs.
