The death toll from the Russian massacre in the Shaafah town has mounted to more than 35 dead civilians

The massacre which was carried out by the Russian aircraft yesterday in the Shafaah village near Al-Bukamal has risen to more than 25 dead, mostly women and children.

More than 25 civilians, most of whom were women and children, were killed in a series of intense Russian airstrikes against the Shafaah village near Al-Bukalam on Sunday. The strikes targeted the Fandi residential complex which is home to several displaced families.

In addition, the death might still increase because many of the victims are still trapped under the rubble of collapsed buildings, whom civil defense teams are unable to rescue due to the lack of equipment and tools.

It should be pointed out that most of the victims belong to three families.

2. The Mawlud Shaabah family
3. The Khaled Al Daher family
