Iranian media has reported the death of the military advisor of the Qudss Brigade, which is affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Khayr Allah Samadi due to a fragment of a mortar shell at a frontline in Al-Bukamal city east of Deir Ezzor.
There are ongoing violent clashes between Assad’s forces, who are backed by Iranian Revolutionary Guards and other militias, and Daesh in the city of Al-Bukamal since they are attempting to capture it.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards have sustained dozens of casualties over the past few months during clashes in Al Bukamal. The commanders ‘Mohamed Tagbish’ and the advisor ‘Murtada Hussein Bur’ were killed by Daesh in the last month.
