The absence of traffic police control and accountability for drivers of cars and motorcycles in Deir Ezzor city has led to a traffic chaos, as reported by a local DeirEzzor24 reporter.

According to him, most of the streets in the city are usually devoid of traffic police patrols that regulate traffic movement. This raises concerns among residents about traffic accidents involving their children, especially speeding motorcycles, often driven by members of the Assad forces and militias during school dismissal.

Deir Ezzor city has witnessed several recent traffic accidents involving motorcycles, and some students have been injured as a result.
