Today, the 4th Division confiscated a truck carrying a variety of salts at the Balum Roundabout in the Mayadeen city on the excuse that the truck did not have pass permission. The shipments of the trucks were unloaded in one of the division warehouses at the Makif Roundabout.
In the same context, the operatives of the 4th checkpoints and others continue to blackmail civilians and merchants, as they deliberately confiscate goods and they return them after their owners pay them specific amounts of money. This has become a source of income for these militias in light of the deteriorating living conditions of locals.
