The Daraj river crossing, which connects the town of Al-Jia’a, which is under the control of the SDF, with Al-Baghiliyah, west of the city of Deir Ezzor, witnessed the entry of large quantities of pieces of iron stolen from the remains of the train railway in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Our reporter said that the stolen iron was transported in trucks to the Fourth Division warehouse in the Al-Sinaa neighborhood, east of the city of Deir Ezzor, which is transferred to iron smelting factories in the Latakia and Hama governorates.
The aforementioned train railway is still experiencing theft that began 7 years ago, despite the presence of some iron smelting factories in Muizila, Hawaij Bu Musa’a, and the city of Raqqa.
