Smuggling of diesel fuel from Deir Ezzor via the militants’ overnight buses

DeirEzzor24 network learned, from private sources, of rampant smuggling operations among members of the Assad forces from the coastal governorates and Damascus.

According to the source, the majority of the elements serving in Deir Ezzor transport diesel via military overnight buses from Deir Ezzor to the coastal and central governorates.

The source confirmed that the quantities do not exceed 30 liters per soldier, with the profit exceeding 120 thousand Syrian pounds from each quantity.

The price of a liter of diesel in Deir Ezzor is 2,800 Syrian pounds, while it is sold in the aforementioned governorates at 7000 Syrian pounds.
