Smuggling from Al-Bukamal has become a source of income for Iranian militias

A private source told the DeirEzzor 24 network that members of Unit 313 of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, in the city of Albukamal, smuggled fuel and foodstuffs via buses transporting them from Albukamal to the cities of Homs and the Syrian coast.

The source added that militia members are taking advantage of the lack of inspection of their buses by Assad regime checkpoints to smuggle materials.

Iranian militia members are taking advantage of the significant increase in the prices of the materials they smuggle in the cities where they are from compared to the city of Al-bukamal.
