Violent clashes broke out yesterday evening between the National Defense militia and the Qaterji militia, in the city of Al-Ashara, east of Deir Ezzor, resulting in the death of one member and the injury of others, according to what was reported by the DeirEzzor24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent said that the clashes resulted in the death of a member of the Al-Qaterji militia called “Imad Amash Al-Khalaf” and the injury of others, and were caused by disputes between the two parties over the trade and smuggling of fuel from areas controlled by the SDF to areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor.
It is noteworthy that the two militias prevented the families of the injured from reaching them to treat the wounded, and the tension continued until late yesterday.
